Hat-trick of wins for Karting trio

David Barbosa, Blake Horseman and Al Seymour Jr each recorded a hat-trick of wins during the last round of Karting at Southside.

Barbosa was a double heat winner in the 125cc Shifter Class and also took the coveted chequered flag in the first heat in the TAG Senior Class to cap a memorable treble of wins.

Barbosa is currently second in the TAG Senior Class championships points standings behind leader Patrick Ingham and third in the 125cc Shifter Class behind front-runner Ben Savill.

Horesman simply dominated the Junior Clone Class (7-12 age group), winning all three heats to further solidify third spot in his respective class.

Ryan Lopes currently leads the Junior Clone Class (7-12 age group) by a comfortable margin over nearest rival Owen DeCosta.

Also in dominant form at the track last weekend was Seymour who took the chequered flag in the day’s three heats in the Junior Clone Class (12-15 age group).

Amber Lopes, who had three seconds last weekend, currently leads the Junior Clone Class (12-15 age group) by a comfortable margin over nearest rival Seymour.

Others driving to victory lane at Bermuda Motorsports Park were Alex Roque (125cc Shifter) and Luis Martin who was a double heat winner in the TAG Senior Class.

There was no racing in the Senior Clone Class currently led by Andrew Cabral.
