Two charged with break-in at city store

Two men have denied a break-in at a retail store and the theft of more than $6,000 in goods.

Jahroy Simons, 34, and Jah-Fari Flood, 29, pleaded not guilty to stealing $6,148 worth of clothes, watches and face masks from The Booth, Reid Street, Hamilton.

The incident is alleged to have happened between Wednesday and Thursday last week.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe on Monday released the two on $5,000 bail and adjourned the case until December 22.

He ordered both men to wear electronic tags and check in at Hamilton Police Station three times a week.

Mr Simons, from Warwick, was ordered to observe an 6pm to 8am curfew.

Mr Flood, from Sandys, was told to stick to a 6pm to 6am curfew.
