Police curfew checks start tonight

Police will be out in force on curfew checks from tonight, a spokesman warned tonight.

He said: “While compliance is our first objective, we must remind that persons found in breach of the curfew regulations without an exemption may be summonsed to appear before the courts.”

The curfew runs from 11pm to 5pm and businesses should be shut by 10pm.
