No new coronavirus cases in latest results

More than 400 coronavirus test results came back clear yesterday, the Ministry of Health said this afternoon.

None of the 409 samples received was positive.

Bermuda has had 206 total confirmed cases.

There are 18 active cases, which were all imported and no one with the virus is in hospital.

Nine people with Covid-19 have died and 179 have recovered from the coronavirus.

In total, 95 cases were brought to the island from overseas, 90 were transmitted locally with a known contact and 21 were transmitted locally with an unknown contact.

Bermuda’s country status is “sporadic cases”. The seven-day average of our real time reproduction number is less than 1.
