How will Nasri cope at City with all those egos?

There was a lot of football this week and the season is now really up and running with the Champions League draw coming out and the Premier League in full swing. All the top teams had good wins and it will be interesting to see what happens this weekend with some more big games.Manchester United will have much tougher task against Arsenal than their match against Tottenham. In the first half Spurs were very much in the game and had created a few chances, but by the time United got the first goal it was all hands to the pump. You can go looking for the goal to level things but before you know it the score can be two or three, which is what it was and it wasn’t a true reflection of how the game was.Credit to Spurs for their hard work but that’s how it goes sometimes.Next up for the champions are Arsenal, who are a very young team, it will take them time to gel and it was nice to see them go to Italy and get the result against Udinese. With Wenger you never know because he is able to pull something out of the hat everytime it matters, he has the money so it will be interetsing to see how he spends it, and he doesn’t spend money for the sake of spending.Chelsea play Norwich and should be able to get a win in that one, but they should be wary of the upset bug.Manchester City made it two wins out of two and also grabbed Samir Nasri from Arsenal so they are getting ready for their Champions League campaign. For anyone going to City it is hard, last year they bought Emmanuel Adebayor and he is now not good enough so it is going to be an interesting time at that club with a lot of egos there. They begin their debut campaign in a very tough group in Bayern Munich, Villareal, and Napoli and there are no easy games from those sides but they should be ok given the class they have in their ranks. The pace of the game won’t be as frantic as it is in the English game, so they will just need to play their game and they will be fine. The groups are relatively equal with the champions Barcelona getting AC Milan, as well as Real Madrid getting Ajax and Lyon, so as long as you can finish in the qulifying spots for the next round that is the main aim of all the clubs. If you can get into the second round, you will be successful.Joey Barton is moving to QPR and I must say that that is a good move for both parties as they look to make a name for themselves as well as himself getting a new change of scenery.I’m sure they won’t allow him to run around and act the fool, Neil Warnock is a serious manager who expects 100% from his players and Barton will give you that as well as some over the top stuff as well.He is a very talented player but he needs someome to bring the reins in on him a bit and maybe Warnock is the guy.West Ham United disappointed me this week with their performance against Aldershot, I’m confident our reserves could have beaten that side and we can’t look at anyone but ourselves. We have Nottingham Forest this weekend and we need to get this out of our system and focus on the task at hand, we are –sitting in a good psosition at the moment and have to put the midweek game out of our heads and focus on what is ahead for us.
