Bermuda’s newest happy-hour event will start on Friday, June 6th at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Marina Nights will take place on their new harbourside patio from 5pm until 9pm and promises spectacular views of Hamilton Harbour with drinks and appetisers available for purchase through waiter service. Chivas and Hennessy Pure White, in association with Moet White Ice & Wild Apache Promotion invite you to kick off the National Heroes Day long weekend celebrations at Pure: The Fifth Annual All White Party on Friday, June 13th from 10pm to 3am. Unsurprisingly, the dress code is all white and music will be courtesy of King Jyrus, DJ Sheep, DJ iMega and Lenky Global, playing the best in old and new school reggae, soca, hip hop and Top 40. You are also encouraged to post your pictures from previous All White Parties using official hashtag #PureBda to win some prizes from sponsors Hennessy, Chivas, Moet Ice, Cavit Moscato, Corona and Posts. Spoil your dad with a sumptuous Father’s Day Brunch at The Reefs on Sunday, June 15th. Brunch will run from noon until 3pm and entertainment will be provided by Tony Bari and his piano. The Bermuda Karate Institute are hosting the 14th Lepercq Memorial Tournament at 1pm at Pembroke Sunday School on Sunday, June 22nd. The open martial arts tournament for all levels is dedicated to the memory of Paul Lepercq and will include open forms, weapons, point sparring and K-1. Wild Apache Promotions, in association with Carlsberg Elephant Beer, promise the biggest sound clash to hit Bermuda in years on Saturday, June 28th. From 10pm until 3am, Rumble in Paradise: International Sound Clash will take place on the lower level on the Pier 6 Complex. Hosted by DJ Chubb of Vibe 103.3FM, with an early warm by Blackstar, this event will include a battle between Bermuda, New York/Jamaica and Virginia/New York. You will get to decide who will be eliminated and who will be crowned champion and take home the Carlsberg Cup. YGS with DJ Scoobay and Crew will be representing Bermuda, while the war sound Young Hawk with Jamie Hype will be representing New York/Jamaica and, representing Virginia and New York, it’s the sound killing machine Love People Sound (Winners of Action Pack Clash 2013, Brooklyn Faceoff Clash, Killa Cup 2012 and 2013) with Gary Famous and Killa Khan. Advance tickets are $30 or $20 for college students, who must have valid college ID when presenting tickets. Promising four of the biggest DJs and sounds in the world, Heineken and Smirnoff presents Cup Match Fever 2014: The International Edition on Friday, August 1st. This will take place from 8.30pm in the Prison Officers Club parking lot in Dockyard, across from the bus terminal, and will start right after the cricket game. Team New School will be playing the best music from 2005 to present with DJ Young Chow, Massive B and Jabba from Hot 97FM in New York. Team Old School will focus on music from 2004 and back with Champion Squad Shadyville Caribbean DJs and Earthruler the Big Sound, alongside Bermuda’s own DJ Chubb, DJ iMega. You will also be able to leave your vehicles at home since there is a free bus shuttle to and from the venue all night.
