Plenty of ways to welcome in 2016

• The Reefs invites you to come ring in the New Year with them with one of two options on Thursday, December 31. Firstly, from 6pm, you can join them for dinner then drinks and dancing to the tunes of DJ Travis. The cost is $115 per person, plus gratuities. The dinner will also be included in their special NYE staycation package which, for the price of $399 plus tax and gratuities, includes the room, dinner and party, and breakfast the next morning. You can also add on an extra night for only $100 more, either before or after the 31st and this includes breakfast. Alternatively, you can join them for a special chef’s table at 7pm. This fantastic last meal of 2015 will feature 11 courses paired with wines, and includes all the festivities and party after the dinner. The cost is $200 per person, plus gratuities. • If you’re looking for a casual and relaxed way to spend the last moments of 2015, then New Year’s Eve in Crown & Anchor could be the event for you on Thursday, December 31. From 6.30pm, they’ll tempt you with an extensive selection of tapas on their family table; perhaps a great way to start the evening if you’re going on to another party. However, they think their amazing dessert buffet, served at 9.30pm, will tempt you to stay way past midnight. And that’s when they’ll serve you fish chowder in traditional Bermuda style. The evening is topped off with the sounds of The Big Chill. The cost is $79 per person, plus gratuities. • Enjoy a fantastic dinner overlooking Hamilton Harbour and ring in the New Year in style at Beau Rivage’s New Year’s Eve Dinner on Thursday, December 31. • Celebrate the last evening of 2015 with a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Party at Cafe Lido and the Deep on Thursday, December 31. The evening will begin with a five-course gourmet dinner created by executive chef Serge Bottelli, with reservations available between 7pm and 8.30pm. After dinner, Supatone Sound will have you dancing the night away in the Deep Nightclub and Lounge, until 3am. Partygoers will also have the best view of the fireworks at Elbow Beach at midnight. • Grotto Bay Beach Resort invite you to join them to bring in the New Year on Thursday, December 31. With seatings from 7pm until 9pm, their chefs have designed a fantastic menu which will be served along with New Year’s favours. After dinner, you can either head off to St George’s to watch the onion drop or hang out with DJ Bubbles, and his son DJ Tevin, who will get you up and dancing in the Palm Court. • Devil’s Isle Cafe invites you to celebrate New Year’s Eve with them, Roaring Twenties style on Thursday, December 31. The Roaring Twenties was a time of vigour and excitement but also a time of chaos. Prohibition, mobsters, Al Capone. cinema, music and fashion took to the forefront. It introduced the era of the Speakeasy, the Cotton Club and the Zoot Suit. Dance became refined and energetic. On New Year’s Eve, Devil’s Isle Cafe intend to embrace this era, deliver it as a step back in time and provide a night to remember. The evening will begin at 7.30pm with a complimentary reception of specialised cocktails, highballs, select beer and wine. They will also be hand passing canapes designed by their kitchen. The reception will be followed by a three-course sit down dinner at 8.30pm. Guests will also receive a take-home gift. After dinner, you can stroll down to Front Street and watch the fireworks. before returning to drink specials, $10 champagne and a night of Devil’s Isle hospitality. • Coco Reef invites you to Leap into 2016 with a celebratory NYE dinner package at their resort on Thursday, December 31. The package includes canapés in their spectacular lobby from 7pm, a special dinner menu at 8pm, an after-party with live DJ Craig “Bubbles” Darrell from 10pm, a glass of champagne at midnight and party favours. • Enjoy your NYE on both land and sea as Fourways Inn and ÜberVida present Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2015 Dinner and Cruise on Thursday, December 31. The evening will begin at Fourways with pre-dinner cocktails at 7.30pm, followed by a five-course dinner at 8pm. After dinner, festivities will continue on board Bermuda’s celebration yacht. ÜberVida, which will depart Darrell’s Wharf at 11pm sharp, with boarding from 10.30pm. There will then be a countdown to midnight as you bring in the New Year under the stars with fantastic views of Bermuda’s waters and Paradise Lakes. • Celebrate the end of 2015 to the sounds of the quintessential Piano Men as Fairmont Southampton and 441 Productions present the Ultimate Tribute To Sir Elton John and Billy Joel: The Face To Face Show, Dueling Pianos on Thursday, December 31. Doors to the Fairmont Southampton’s Poinciana Ballroom open at 8pm, with showtime at 9pm, recreating some of the magic of the most successful and longest-running concert pairing in pop history. Local acts will include Mike Hind, the Simons Brothers Musical Band, and more with Mike Bishop serving as Master of Ceremonies. • Why travel to New York to watch the ball drop when you can watch Bermuda’s twist on this tradition at the onion drop in St George’s instead as the Corporation of St George presents New Year’s Eve 2015 on Thursday, December 31. The NYE celebration will be in King’s Square from 8.30pm until 1am, including live Music by Bermuda Idol Samantha Smith and Prestege, performances by Rockfire and music by DJ Black Lion, as well as the infamous onion drop at midnight. • 441 Productions presents two different NYE parties at Ciroc the New Year on both levels at Pier 6 Waterfront Complex on Thursday, December 31. Doors open at 9pm. The Ciroc Tent on the upstairs level will be hosted by UZIMON and his burlesque dancers and will include entertainment by DJ Hedspin (2011 Red 3Style World Champion), Charly Hustle (2015 Red 3Style Canadian Champion and Tokyo World Finalist), DJ Smokey and DJ Dan Ho. Downstairs will be the Moët Lounge, with entertainment by Poison Dart, Rusty G, DJ Chubb and YGS. Admission to the Ciroc Tent is $50 for Early Birds and $70 for General.
