Cup Match ribbons help Family Centre

FOR the fifth straight year, the Family Centre is providing Bermudians with the opportunity to indulge in the festive atmosphere of Cup Match while supporting a deserving charity.

With the support of Capital G, the Family Centre this week launched its annual Cup Match Ribbons Tag Day.

"It's our fifth year of doing it," said Elizabeth Ward of the Family Centre. "Capital G has been with us throughout. It's an opportunity for the community to have fun and donate funds to very worthy charity."

The ribbons are on sale now at the Capital G banking hall, where they can be purchased between noon and 2 p.m. through August 2.

It is also understood that Cellular One has agreed to donate $250 to the Family Centre for each stumping made during this year's Cup Match which will be held in Somerset on August 3 and 4.
