Ship brings materials for Dockyard project

On Monday the Strong Patriot arrived on the Island carrying materials for the dock in Dockyard. It was expected to leave yesterday.

The Azamara Journey arrived from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, on Monday and will set sail tomorrow. The ship is presently docked in Hamilton, as is cruise ship Empress of the Seas, which arrived on Monday from Philadelphia and is expected to leave tomorrow.

The Norwegian Majesty arrived in St. George's yesterday carrying 1,700 passengers and will leave on Friday. Cruise ship Explorer of the Seas was in Dockyard for a one-day visit yesterday. Cruise ship Norwegian Crown is expected to arrive tomorrow morning, as is the Nowegian Dawn, which will be taking the place of Explorer of the Seas in Dockyard.

The Oleander arrived from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, on Sunday carrying 170 dry containers and 47 refrigerated containers. Its shipment included six trailers, 15 cars, a fork lift, truck and minibus. It left the Island on Monday at 3 p.m.

Cargo ship Somers Isle is expected to arrive on the Island today carrying 120 containers from Fernandina Beach, Florida. While the Bermuda Islander is expected to arrive tomorrow carrying 130 containers out of Salem, New Jersey.
