Arch Capital Group Ltd., which through its subsidiaries provides insurance and reinsurance, yesterday said it plans to publicly sell $300 million of senior notes. The Bermuda-based company said it expects to use proceeds mainly to pay down debt under its existing credit facility and to support its subsidiaries? underwriting activities.
