Bank gives BSX boost for week
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 64.436 points last week which pushed it up to 2,813.55 points.
The volume of trading during the week stood at 201,945.
Leading that volume of trading was LOM (Holdings) with 155,000 shares moving while the stock value gained ten cents to finish the week at $3.10. Bank of Butterfield shares moved up $1.45 to $38.95 and 23,903 of their shares traded.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. saw trading of 500 shares while dipping 90 cents to $6.60.
Insurance stocks were also active with Argus gaining $5.70 on trading of 400 shares. The shares closed up at $26. BF&M Ltd. shares fell $1 to $10 with trading of 6,221 shares.
KeyTech shares moved down 25 cents, or nearly 2.5 percent, to $10.25 while 15,121 of the stock traded.
Belco traded 800 shares and closed five cents up at $34.60.
