Bank of Bermuda offers new fund to investors
If you're looking to invest $50,000, the Bank of Bermuda may be the place.
The bank recently announced an addition to its line of All Points Funds - the All Points Managed Portfolio - which it claimed was a customised investment vehicle that offered affordable access to some of the world's best managers in a portfolio tailored to investor's individual profiles.
There are four portfolios to choose from - Income and Growth, Balanced, Capital Growth or Strategic Equity - and are available in either US dollars or in Sterling.
The bank said it had devised the All Points Funds for "investors who want expert assistance in managing and building their wealth".
Interested investors can be advised by the bank's investment professionals in identifying which portfolio is best suited to their individual tolerance of risk, time horizon and investment goals.
The management fees for the funds are 0.75 percent perannum which is inclusive of custody and administration fees. There could however be additional fees charged based on the "underlying fees of the sub-funds," according to the bank.
Brian Boyd, general manager of the bank's All Points family of mutual funds, said: "This is no ordinary investment vehicle. We have constructed the All Points Managed Portfolios as an affordable solution for clients who want their wealth invested in an investment portfolio tailored to their objectives. Bank of Bermuda provides the investment expertise in constructing and balancing the portfolios and by leveraging our existing relationships with leading investment managers, we can offer this at an affordable price."
The bank said that in constructing the All Points Managed Portfolios, the investment professionals were primarily choosing from proven funds that collectively make up the bank's flagship investment vehicle, All Points Multi-Manager, and alternative investment funds from the All Points family. The bank added that the funds are picked to construct a complete portfolio, tailored by objectives. And the constructed portfolio is then constantly monitored and where necessary re-balanced to match changing market and economic conditions so that it "remains well balanced at all times".
Mr. Boyd said the bank's option offered more than other mutual funds: "The All Points Managed Portfolios offer investors more than one traditional mutual fund could alone. Only the world's leading investment managers survive the selection and monitoring process we have in place for our All Points funds and the All Points Managed Portfolios have full access to these proven managers. Clients can discuss all their options with our investment experts."
