The Bermuda Stock Exchange/The Royal Gazette index yesterday regained some ground after Belco shares rose in value.

The electricity company saw its shares rise by 25 cents to $41.25, but traded only 400 shares. No other shares changed hands.

The index gained 3.59 points or 0.11 percent to 3,268.77 on a volume of 400 shares worth $16,500.
