Bermuda Bakery Ltd. yesterday announced that its former general manager, John Massa, died yesterday.

Mr. Massa had been battling cancer, and the announcement was made by Bermuda Bakery board chairman, James Pearman, through an official notice on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Mr. Massa had been at the helm of Bermuda Bakery for four years, after working away from his native Bermuda for 40 years.

Mr. Pearman said Mr. Massa died at his home in Canada and said the board of directors, management and staff of Bermuda Bakery ?extend their condolences to the Massa family at this time of sorrow?.
