Charter on NASDAQ index
Charter Financial Corporation of West Point, Georgia, will become a component of the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index? effective at the beginning of trading Wednesday, February 18, 2004. Charter Financial Corporation will replace The Bank of Bermuda Ltd., an announcement from the NASDAQ said yesterday. With the market capitalisation of $791 million, Charter Financial Corporation is a savings and loan holding company and the parent company of CharterBank, a full-service community bank and a federal savings institution. CharterBank is headquartered in West Point, Georgia.
Alea to announce results
Alea Group Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd., the global reinsurance and specialty insurance company, will be announcing full year results for the year ended December 31 2003 on Monday, March 15.

KFC repurchases shares
The Bermuda Stock Exchange was this week advised by Kentucky Fried Chicken (Bermuda) Limited (KFC) that 1,800 shares were repurchased by KFC as of February 16.
