The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 7.49 points to close at 3,289.24.

Bank of Butterfield shares moved up 25 cents to $44.50 while 927 shares were traded.

Stevedoring Services also saw their shares gain closing up $1 to $9 on trading of 500 shares.

Belco Holdings shares moved up 50 cents to $41.50 while investors bought and sole 1,017 of the utility company's shares.

Argus was the only listed company to see its shares fall yesterday, dipping down five cents to $25.95, while 229 shares changed hands.
