Bermuda Stock Exchange falls in quiet week

An exceptionally quiet week of trading saw The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index dip by 25 points.
The loss was led by Bank of Butterfield, which dropped 25 cents over the week, closing at $44.25, and followed by BF&M which lost 45 cents to $25.30 and KeyTech, which dipped 95 cents to end up at $13.00.
This was partially balanced out by Kentucky Fried Chicken, which gained $1 to close at $4.50, Belco, up 25 cents at $41.25 and Watlington Waterworks, which rose 75 cents to finish at $9.
The index closed down 0.75 percent or 25.32 points at 3,258.71 on a volume of 13,673 shares worth $364,482.30.
