The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 15.07 points yesterday to close at 4,934.06.

On a quiet day of trading on the Exchange, Belco was the only issue to advance gaining $2.50 to close at $44 as investors traded in 200 shares.

Argus fell 25 cents to close at $14 on volume of 1,741 shares and Butterfield Bank traded in 13,160 shares to close unchanged at $59.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $816,192.00 and the overall volume of shares was 15,101.
