BSX gains ground

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday gained 7.99 points to close at 3,295.86.The Bank of Butterfield saw the highest volume of trading yesterday with 12,761 shares moving at a price of $44.75.Bermuda Commercial Bank also saw trading of 1,800 shares while the share price was pushed down 50 cents to $11.

The Bank of Butterfield saw the highest volume of trading yesterday with 12,761 shares moving at a price of $44.75.
Bermuda Commercial Bank also saw trading of 1,800 shares while the share price was pushed down 50 cents to $11.
Investors also bought and sold 2,500 LOM shares at a price of $3.75.
In the insurance sector, BF&M Ltd. saw trading of 2,800 shares and a price gain of 25 cents sending the shares to $16.
Argus also saw trading of 821 shares.
Meanwhile, Belco Holdings shares gained a dollar, closing at $42 with trading of 2,155 shares.
