The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday fell 3.94 points to close at 3,268.75.

Bank of Butterfield investors led trading with buying and selling 8,599 of the company's shares.

There was no change to the value of Butterfield's shares which remained at $44.75.

There were 2,200 Bermuda Commercial Bank shares traded, which closed down 35 cents to $9.

In the utilities sector, Belco Holdings saw trading of 1,800 shares while investors pushed down the shares 15 cents to $40.
