The Royal Gazette/ Bermuda Stock Exchange index dipped marginally yesterday after two stocks lost some ground.

Bank of Butterfield and Bermuda Container Line both dropped 5 cents to close at $44.75, and $11.45 respectively.

Belco Holdings, however, gained 15 cents to finish at $41.00.

The index closed down 1.60 points or 0.03 percent at 3,272.69 on a volume of 8,053 shares worth $267,773.
