BSX slips for third day

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index yesterday dipped again after five cents was shaved off the price of Bank of Butterfield stock.
Bank of Butterfield lost 0.1 percent of its value to close at $45.95, but this was offset by LOM (Holdings) which gained ten cents to finish at $4.10, a rise of 2.5 percent.
The index ended down 0.94 points or 0.03 percent to close at 3,314.94 on a volume of 23,131 shares worth $162,828.75. No bonds traded.
