Can you help find homes for our staff?

A Bermuda-based captive management company is looking for help here to assist staff made homeless by hurricanes that hit further south.

CFO of Marsh Management Services David Spratt took out an advertisement in seeking immediate furnished accommodation for staff in Grand Cayman.

?It came to my attention there may be some people in Bermuda that either own property in Cayman or know of people who own property that may be in position to rent it to some people that need accommodation.? Mr. Spratt said. ?It is just trying to think out of the box in terms of how we can help our people.?

Most of the company?s staff in Grand Cayman have already found accommodation, but Mr. Spratt said the advertisement is meant to help the remaining few who are currently living in hotels or shared accommodation.

The company?s CEO is planning a trip to the island this week to visit staff and assess the situation, but Mr. Spratt says that at the Grand Cayman offices themselves it is ?completely back to business as usual.?

He said: ?Fortunately our office was not damaged so we have full power. Computers were not damaged, we?re back to full staff compliment and everything is operating very well as far as we?re concerned. The difficulty is that some people had personal accommodation destroyed or damaged and we?re just trying to help them out.?
