OBM International has been honoured for its work on the The Flagberry Hill Residences development in the British Virgin Islands.

The Residences received the Vincent D. George "Light the Way" Award by the Virgin Islands Energy Office which is aimed at encouraging energy conservation.

Flagberry Hill Residences embraces solar, wind and other energy-efficient technologies to lessen the development's impact on the environment and to reduce its dependence on power generated by fossil fuels. Although still in the conceptual phase, the condominium buildings and villas are designed to maximise the use of natural light and air flow to encourage energy efficiency.

"We are extremely honoured to receive this award and to be part of the Flagberry Hill Residence project," said Tim Peck, OBM International's CEO for Bermuda and the Caribbean. "We believe that this project will set new standards for the long-term conservation of the Islands and will encourage future developments to make significant energy efficient measures."

OBM International has offices in Bermuda, the Caribbean, Madrid, Miami and in Bath, England.
