Alexis Furtado has been named the new manager of sales, marketing and research for the Bermuda Hotel Association.

Ms Furtado is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BSc in Marketing. She was formerly the accounts manager at Evoke.

BHA CEO John Harvey said Ms Furtado will be responsible for all aspects of co-ordinating the sales and marketing initiatives for the BHA member hotels. She will also be responsible for planning, researching and instituting new sales and marketing programmes.
