Almost half a million dollars worth of shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, but no shares changed price.
Despite this The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index rose 0.32 points or 0.01 percent. No explanation for the rise was given.
10,000 Bank of Butterfield shares changed hands at $35.50 and 30,000 LOM shares traded at $2.75.
The index closed at 2,713.38 on a volume of 40,950 shares worth $435,512.50.
