ISIS opens Australian office
Bermuda-based corporate finance and consulting firm ISIS Ltd. announced yesterday that it is establishing an Australian subsidiary, ISIS (Asia Pacific) Pty. Ltd., which will be headed up by ISIS chief executive Audette Exel.
ISIS Asia Pacific is in the process of applying for a financial services licence from the Australian regulators, and will be focused on sourcing business for Bermuda from the Asia Pacific region, the company said.
ISIS Ltd. is a corporate finance and consulting business which was established to create a funding stream for its related charitable foundation, The ISIS Foundation.
Through the work of The ISIS Foundation, health and educational care is delivered to thousands of children and their families who live in extreme poverty in Nepal and Uganda.
ISIS co-founder Sharon Beesley said the company already had a number of high profile Australian clients including Macquarie Bank and Babcock & Brown.
Ms Exel, the co-founder of ISIS, will divide her time between Australia and Bermuda, and spearhead The ISIS Group?s efforts in Australia.
