The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 6.01 points yesterday to close at 4,938.40.

On a quiet day on the Exchange, LOM gained 90 cents to close at $3.45 as investors traded in 1,000 shares.

Butterfield Bank fell 25 cents to close at $56.50 on volume of 963 shares.

The only other activity on the Exchange saw Argus trade in 7,000 shares to close unchanged at $14.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $204,614.75 and the overall volume of shares traded was 8,817.
