The rarely-traded stock of Masters Ltd. rose $1.50 to reach a 52 week high of $8.50 - an increase of 21.4 percent.

This pushed up the index marginally by 1.78 points or 0.07 percent to 2,654.12 on a volume of 7,300 shares worth $193,850.
