New record for BSX as bank hits new high

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index yesterday again broke all records as it reached 3,244.77 after two stocks rose during the day's trading.
Bank of Butterfield edged close to its 52-week high of $45, up 45 cents to $44.95 after the bank posted healthy earnings on Monday.
BF&M also made large gains, up 19 percent or $2.40 to close at $15. Argus traded the largest volume of shares, but closed unchanged at $25.50.
The index closed up 27.18 points or 0.84 percent on a volume of 10,810 shares worth $347,930. No bonds traded.
