The board of directors for Scottish Re Group Limited has named as its lead director and Jean-Claude Damerval as a Director. Mr. Caulfeild-Browne has served as a director for Scottish Re since 1999, is chairperson of the Board?s Compensation Committee and is a member of the Board?s Audit Committee and its Corporate Governance Committee.

From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Caulfeild-Browne was the chief operating officer (US) for Swiss Re Life and Health North America.

He previously worked for The Mercantile and General Life Reassurance Company, U.S as chief operating officer and a director, senior vice president and vice president, marketing.

Mr. Damerval has been actively involved in supporting corporate finance operations within the insurance industry, including mergers and acquisitions, demutualizations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and capital restructuring throughout his career.

He spent 7 years as CEO of International Operations with AXA and has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of insurance organisations including National Mutual (Melbourne), INA/ ASSITALIA (Rome), AOBA Life (Tokyo), CX Re (London), and Aurora National Life, where he also served as an executive committee member. Additionally, Mr. Damerval has held active roles in projects associated with PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
