Bermuda yesterday. But the flight from JFK is scheduled to touch down today at 9.15 a.m. and return to New York an hour later. The flight normally leaves the Island at 7.30 a.m.
Meanwhile, a British Airways pilot spent half an hour circling the Island last night assessing the high cross winds at the runway before deciding to land.
The pilot, on the flight from London, was considering diverting to the US, but landed on the Island at 8.55 p.m.
Airport Operations manager Lester Nelson said most airlines will be taking a "wait and see'' approach today.
