ACE Bermuda on Friday announced the promotion of Bermudian Amy Shillingford to the position of Marketing Department promotions manager.

She joined the department in September, 1996 as administrative assistant and within a year was promoted to marketing assistant.
President and chief executive officer Dominic Frederico said Ms Shillingford had played an integral part in planning and organising February's first annual ACE Group Classic, a 54-hole Senior PGA Tour event in Florida.
He said she had exhibited a very high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Before joining ACE, Ms Shillingford worked for a year at Barclays De Zoete Wedd in London.
