George's and changed the name to Cousins Variety.

Ralph Adderley has been running the new operation for a month and said the name change represented his relationship to the other partner.

"I own this business with my cousin,'' he said.

As a part owner of Twins Variety on Flatts Hill, Mr. Adderley is no stranger to the convenience store business.

But he was tight lipped on any future plans for the new St. George's store.

He said he was trying to win over area residents and would not be making any substantial changes to the store at the moment.

Celebrating a month of business in the new location this week, Mr. Adderley revealed that he has been working at bolstering item selection.

"We will be trying to get more of a selection of products,'' he said.
