BA boost
from London to Manchester at no additional cost.
British Airways yesterday announced it has received approval to change its tariff, thereby allowing passengers traveling on its three direct flights to London to continue on to Manchester.
"We have known for some time that a significant number of Bermuda residents travel to the north of England and have been looking for an opportunity to serve this market better,'' said local manager Mr. Philip Troake. "Our acquisition of Dan Air's Gatwick to Manchester route late last year meant we were able, for the first time, to offer convenient connections at Gatwick for this traffic.'' The new Manchester fare is only available for travel originating in Bermuda, and can be applied to tickets purchased from yesterday.
A stopover in London is permitted at additional cost.
