BCB warrants to be traded

The warrants are part of the bank's recent fully subscribed offering which raised $14,250,036.

In the offering, shareholders were offered the right to buy two shares and one warrant at a cost of $10 for every share held.

Each warrant entitles the holder to subscribe for one new share at a fixed price of $7.50 at any time between May 30, 1997 and May 31, 2001.

The offering also lifted BCB's shareholder numbers by 142 to 1,158.

BCB now has 4,275,108 shares and 1,625,036 warrants in issue. Its shares last traded at $5.50.

Two issues closed down, one gained one traded unchanged on the exchange yesterday.

Bank of Bermuda closed down 12.5 cents at $18.50 on volume of 761 while Bermuda Home lost 12.5 cents to close at $8 on volume of 3,022.

Bank of Butterfield gained 12.5 cents to close at $11.625 on volume of 1,000.

Bermuda Home preferred traded unchanged at $12 on volume of 1,075.

The exchange gained .04 points to close at 1,021.69 on volume of 5,858.

Share value was $63,104.13. Yesterday's report on Page 9 incorrectly reported Long Botham Boats closed down $1 to $6 on volume 1,267. The trade information applied to Masters.
