Course director is Marsh & McLennan accounts executive Mr. Peter Morgan, while speakers include Ms Donna Wise from Arthur Morris & Co. and BII director Mr.

Ian Linnegan.

The course, scheduled for July 9 at the Princess Hotel in Pembroke, is aimed at insurance brokers, underwriters, and clerks, as well as other professions including bankers, lawyers, Government officials and executive secretaries.

It is designed to give employees who have access to accounting information an appreciation of the accounting principles involved.

The morning session, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will discuss basic accounting principles for non-insurance companies, while the afternoon session, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., will deal with insurance company accounts, and GAAP financial statements and the statutory financial return.

The course costs $85 per session, and registration can be made through the BII office.
