when the Access Awareness Committee kicks off its Awareness Week today.

During the week, Dr. Jernigan will visit schools, speak at service clubs and deliver the keynote address of a free public meeting at St. Paul AME Church on October 13.

Dr. Jernigan, who has been blind since birth, is the president emeritus of the US National Federation of the Blind.
