African American lecturer Anthony Browder will give a talk tonight about his latest book, From the Browder File, Vol. II: Survival Strategies for Africans in America -- 13 Steps to Freedom.
"I define freedom as the ability to make decisions that will affect your family for seven generations,'' said Mr. Browder.
And he said the position of black Bermudians was not radically different from that of their African American and Caribbean counterparts.
Mr. Browder's 14-year old daughter Atlantis Tye will give a separate lecture tomorrow about her experiences traveling to different countries in West Africa.
Mr. Browder's lecture will take place at St. Paul's Centennial Hall at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
Ms Browder's talk will be at St. Paul's Centennial Hall tomorrow at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
