of Alexander and Alexander Services Inc., has been appointed executive vice president with responsibility for captive management operations in Bermuda.

Mrs. Fox, a graduate of Warwick Academy and the Bermuda College who obtained her MBA from Queen's University in Canada, has been with the company since 1982. She was promoted to vice president, financial services in 1988 and took over responsibility for captive management in Bermuda.

Alexander and Alexander provides insurance management services under the name of Alexander Insurance Managers (AIM). AIM Bermuda employs some 45 people in the management of over 80 captive insurance companies.

*** Two jewellers at Wilson's Fine Jewellers have recently found something to celebrate as they upgraded their skills.

Mr. Jason Burrows has completed the course requirements in jewellery repair and basic stone setting in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his certificate of completion from the Gemological Institute of America.

Store owner Mr. Greg Wilson has recently completed the requirements of the Gemological Institute of America and passed the prescribed examinations in "Diamonds''.

Mr. Wilson is currently studying for his degree in Gemology, the study of rare and precious stones, and is in the diamond grading portion of a three-year programme. He hopes to successfully complete his exams in Spring 1995.

Mr. Wilson, a qualified watchmaker, seeks the specialist designation of gemologist at the termination of the course.

*** Mr. Colin Godwin, left, account representative at A.F. Smith Trading has completed the Professional Selling Skills Programme offered by Performance Consultants, the local representatives for Learning International, a US-based firm. The programme has benefited more than 2 million sales professionals around the world.

*** Bermuda Realty -- the real estate subsidiary of Bermuda Home, which was in turn created out of the property arms of the Bank of Bermuda and LP Gutteridge -- has named its team.
