has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation of the Residential Sales Council of the Realtors National Marketing Institute of Toronto, affiliated with the National Association of Realtors in Canada.

Mr. Sticca has been in the real estate business for the past 10 years and has sold an average of $1 million in real estate per year.

* * * Mr. Edwin Ford and Mr. Timothy Miller , who both work in the International Network Operations Centre at the Cable & Wireless Teleport in Devonshire, have recently completed a 12 month advanced telecommunications course in the UK.

The course was divided between the Anglia Polytechnic Institute in Chelmsford, Essex, and the Cable & Wireless College at Porthcurno, Cornwall. Graduates of the course receive a Higher National Diploma in electronic telecommunications engineering.

Mr. Ford joined Cable & Wireless in 1975 while Mr. Miller has been with the company since 1983.

* * * Mr. Barry Marquardt has been appointed General Manager of Pink Beach Club, while Mr. W.A. (Toppy) Cowen , has taken the position of Managing Director, rejoining the company after an absence of two months.

Mr. Cowen was formerly General Manager of the property.

Pink Beach Club was founded 45 years ago when it had just six cottages. It can now accommodate up to 162 guests.

* * * Ms Ellen Lopes , co-owner of the Fitness Firm, and company fitness instructor Mrs. Susan Buser , recently returned from the 1992 Idea Personal Training Conference in New York City. The conference, staged by IDEA, the association for fitness professionals, featured the latest development in personal training, fitness research and updates in exercise safety.

There were more than 1,200 participants in the three-day conference.
