Ms Khaldun has extensive banking experience, having been Senior Manager of Corporate Banking at Bermuda Commercial Bank and Assistant Manager of Commercial Lending at the Bank of Bermuda.

She has also worked overseas with the Marine Midland Bank of New York. Mr.

Roger Titterton, chairman of the BSBD, said: "Ms Khaldun's experience and enthusiasm is essential to new initiatives being explored by the Corporation, which has now been in existence for over a decade.

"The Board has taken initiatives to ensure the Corporation increases its client focus so that Bermuda's small emerging businesses receive advice and loan guarantees to encourage their continued success in a rapidly changing business environment.'' Ms Khaldun begins her new role on September 15, 1993. Ms Winifred Robinson will remain as Assistant General Manager.

*** The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda has announced the following employment changes during August: Mr. Robert Andrew Blee from Gray & Kempe to ACE Insurance; Ms Michelle Pauline Matt from United Management to Gibbons Management; and Mr. M.N.
