Cruise line set to return

Bermuda this Summer after a 15-year-absence.

Carnival Cruise Lines' MS Inspiration is set to operate a one off six-day cruise to Bermuda from Newport News starting on August 25 and to showcase the voyage Carnival has released a new 6-page colour brochure in the US.

The glossy leaflet provides details on a variety of four to six day Bahamas cruises, several one-night cruises-to-nowhere and the Bermuda cruise which will dock in Bermuda for three nights.

The cost of the Bermuda jaunt starts at $879 per person.

The two-year-old MS Inspiration is a 70,000 gross-registered-ton ship with capacity for 2,040 passengers and features a seven-deck-high glass-domed atrium and a 7,500-square foot health and fitness facility. It also has a 12,000-square foot health and fitness facility, three pools, six whirlpools, a two-level show lounge and 24-hour complimentary pizzeria and stateroom service.

The ships' diverse entertainment and activity options, including lavish Las Vegas style revues, full casino gambling, on-board duty-free shopping and children's programmes are also detailed.

The brochure is currently being distributed to US travel agents by Carnival and is also available to website shoppers at www.carnival.com.

Brochures and reservations on all other Carnival cruises are available to Bermudians through all Bermuda travel agencies or through Carnival Cruise Lines' local representative office at 295-4721.
