First Atlantic Commerce yesterday announced it had secured a contract with Brazil Focus, an on-line data store.

The company, which is the first of its kind in Brazil, will now have its on-line sales processed by First Atlantic.

Andrea Wilson, Senior Vice President and co-founder of First Atlantic Commerce said: "This is another `first' for First Atlantic Commerce Ltd. This is the first online business of its kind in Brazil providing electronic business reports and corporate overviews on all businesses and services in Brazil.'' The site provides data on 450 Brazilian consumer and industrial products and services with monthly and annual figures on market size, volume and value.

It also provides information on market shares, brands, foreign trade statistics in Latin America and Europe with comparisons and regional consumption and state production data.

Mrs. Wilson added: "FAC is processing for their online sales, enabling First Atlantic to penetrate the dynamically growing South American e-commerce market. We are very pleased they have selected to work with First Atlantic.'' Mrs. Wilson said that the Brazilian company was tied to some very large publishers of corporate information.

At the moment First Brazil can be sampled by downloading a mini report of three to six pages which costs between $20 and $50 depending on data available.
