Newstead Hotel handing out cards to guests so they can access the Internet network installed by SolutionInc Ltd. I thought the reference to cards was to a type of access card. However, the cards mentioned in the Press release are network interface cards (NICs). NICs are provided to guests with notebook computers without the card installed.

Hotel owner Dana Goodfellow and her husband Anthony looks at the demonstration. The high-speed service allows hotel guests to plug their computer laptops directly into a hotel room's data jack for Internet access.

Guests will be issued with special cards to get access to the network.

Telephone lines and modems are not used.
