Marketing at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

The news came yesterday from BUEI director Wendy Tucker. Ms Horsfield will now oversee marketing and sales for the tourist attraction located on East Broadway.

Ms Horsfield has worked in the non-profit field locally for more than nine years and has held positions with the Bermuda Maritime Museum and the Bermuda Zoological Society.

She was instrumental in forming Heritage Bermuda, an association of the six largest cultural attractions on the Island, and also served as a key facilitator within the Explorers Tourism Competitive Network.

Before this she was involved in the hospitality industry both in Bermuda and the UK and operated her own special event business for a number of years.

She is also the immediate past president of Meeting Professionals International (Bermuda).
