Customers will now be able to take out loans if they are buying from the Serpentine Road Showroom. Once the buyer has chosen the vehicle they would like to purchase, a Bank of Butterfield representative will be on hand at the showroom to talk to about finance agreements. Subject to the bank's terms and conditions, the customer will find out there and then whether they are eligible for a loan. Approval will be subject to the bank's normal lending procedures for new car loans, verification of all information on the application form and a down payment.

The scheme was given the go-ahead after a trial run was deemed an "resounding success'' by the bank and dealer, said Jonathan Brewin, HWP Group President & CEO. "We are trying to provide the most seamless purchasing process we can for our customers and having a bank representative on-site removes many of the logistical hurdles experienced when purchasing a car.'' Richard Doughty, vice president of the Bank of Butterfield said customers will be able to access loans more quickly.
