Leshne joins Global Crossing
joined the company as Vice President, Investor Relations.
In the new position, Mr. Leshne will work directly with shareholders and investors to ensure the visibility and clarity of Global Crossing's investment message.
He will be based in Beverley Hills, California.
Mr. Leshne comes to Global Crossing after 15 years at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he rose to the post of Vice President, Investor Relations.
Global Crossing Ltd. is building, and offering services over, the world's first global fibre optic network with 97,200 announced route miles, serving five continents, 24 countries and more than 200 major cities.

It was a challenging year for the company, which is headquartered in Hong Kong and develops, manufactures and distributes electronic handheld and table top games.
Total revenues for fiscal year 1999 were $133.5 million and after tax profits were $17.1 million.
The gross profit for fiscal year 1999 was $55.3 million compared to $85.9 million in fiscal 1998 and the gross margin for the year was 41.4 percent compared to 53.9 percent in the prior year.
The gross profit for the fourth quarter was $17.7 million compared to $23.9 million in the same period of 1998 and the gross margin was 39.8 percent compared to 50.4 percent for the same period last year.

has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share on the corporation's common shares.
