Argus Insurance, which stands to benefit from negative publicity involving BF&M, actually fell by 25 cents to $11.50 on volume of 700. Meanwhile, BF&M nine percent preference shares remained at $9 on volume of 1,000.

Shares and bonds worth $2.537 million were traded during the week.
