Bermuda Stock Exchange on Wednesday as the Exchange Index fell by 20.04 to close at 1,168.65. Also going down, by 75 cents, was Argus Insurance stock, which closed at $11 on a volume of 1,000.
Going up in value was Belco stock, which went up by $1 to $21 on a volume of 8,473, and BF&M nine percent preference shares, which increased by 50 cents to $12 on a volume of 200.
Trading unchanged in value were the stocks of the Bank of Butterfield, which closed at $28, with a volume of 2,490; Bermuda Commercial Bank, $9, 1,500; and Telco, $38.75, 1,258.
The total value of shares traded on the Exchange last week was $681,338.
